TT-02 Let’s Drive — Back to the Buggy Track

I took the upgraded TT-02 Celica GT-Four ST165 back to the 1/8 buggy track for a new track layout, different camera angles, and some slow-motion fun.

The car was driving much better with the upgrades and handled the new layout well. It was also hitting the big jumps better than before.

  • Layout: Completely new layout — only one jump stayed the same
  • Setup: TT-02 upgrades with the open differential
  • Main upgrade: Losi JRXS shocks

Different Views

  • Lap 1: GoPro on the ground for low, close-up shots. The low-angle slow motion was the best part of the run, showing the car moving through the dirt.
  • Lap 2: GoPro mounted to the controller for a more realistic driver’s-eye perspective.
  • Lap 3: Same controller-mounted view, but with the stock tires. The stock tires are more fun to drive because they let the car slide more.

The Big Jump

  • The big jump: is a step-up jump. I jumped it backwards to get some extra hang time.
  • Two fun crashes: followed by one clean landing to finish the video
  • 240fps slow-mo: Made the crashes and landing much more interesting to watch.
