Rubber Band Mod

Similar to a droop suspension but much easier to do – change how the truck feels in seconds.
Lowers the truck without losing articulation.
It helps stabilize the truck – less flipping – more consistent.
More beneficial to the front

You know a cheap and easy mod is just to add rubber bands to the suspension. It acts like you have springs on both sides of the shock piston. With bands, you limited the ride height at rest but don’t lose down travel/articulation if done right. Then limiters can be added to the top or the bottom of the shaft to help stop travel if needed. Usually with the rubber band mod – limiters are added to the outside part of the shaft to stop up-travel (to keep the tire off the body/chassis and to keep it more upright). For the outside limiter, it’s also better to use RC nitro fuel tubing (or some type of rubber) for the full weight of the car lands on this part if compressed (give a bit of cushion) <<< This force more weight on the tire and less in the suspension (usually adds more grip)
