Video on rebuilding Traxxas Differential for 2wd Slash, Stampede, Rustler, Bandit, and more…
Items used in the video above
- Traxxas 2388 Diff: This is the complete differential with housing and all internal gears with grease.
- 2388x: This is the upgraded diff with a steel ring gear.
- Mobil 1 Grease Synthetic: This is a synthetic base grease with lithium complex thickener, it’s thick but not too thick, making it a great choice for all gears on your RC car.
- Super Lube Synthetic: It might be a bit better on plastic gears, it’s in a squeeze tube if you don’t have syringe, smaller and more compact to carry in your toolbox.
- Syringe: To make your grease job less messy
- WD-40: For cleaning out the old grease
